Anyone go to Weight Watchers?

Thanks. Sounds like the biggest problem is the tracking and weighing/measuring. However this would make it better to know exactly what you are eating. I didn't get fat by measuring what I eat. It would make you aware and not just eating because it is handy. Sounds like what I need at least to start with. It is so hard to do alone and the support system would hopefully make it easier. Also having some great recipes for me since I cook for hubby and he is very meat and potatoes. Maybe I can get him to eat better too. Well one can hope.

I was on WW. Had to quit because it was just too expensive once DH lost his job and it was just me working. The points system is really easy to follow. I'm thinking I'm going to start doing the program on my own since I still have all the books and stuff.

I lost 17 several years ago and whenever it creeps back up--I follow points carefully and it comes right off. If it doesn't--I'm cheating.
My d-i-l has lost over 40 now--and feels wonderful! It's a life changing program--one that's easy to stick with forever. She's changed everything about how she thinks of food--how she shops--everything. And it shows.

I joined WW the first of this year. The first week was the hardest cause you are learning the program adn figuring out what you can eat etc. Im 3 weeks into it and have lost 6lbs. My husband is following it with me. at first I had a hard time eating only 29 points and now I have a hard time eating up to 29 points. I bought a scale at Walmart and they are pretty cheap. I also bought a WW calculator which you will need.
Im not a meeting person. I kinda hate them. but the meetings are short and informative. I havent gone yet this week as work has been really busy for me.
I would say give it a try! it cant hurt and anything will help. Its so hard to do it on your own. Good Luck!

I've been on WW for about 14 weeks now and I'm not as enamored of the new points system as I was of the old. It seems like you must you use e-tools or the special new calculator (which you must purchase) to calculate points. But I have to say it DOES work. I'm just shy of a 20 lb weight loss. Tracking points is a pain in the butt, but I have to say the most useful thing was learning WHY I eat. It really makes you examine if you're eating out of boredom or emotional eating etc.

I have been on every one of their programs since the days of mandatory liver several times a week - The new Points Plus is the best especially if you are not a careful tracker - I have lost without thinking about it a lot this time. Fresh fruits and veggies are free which makes it easier to go out to functions.
