I remember squeezing it, but we had to rinse it first, because it was so salty. ha.

I switched to butter when I saw that animals and bugs rejected margarine. I think their instinct is better than ours.

Butter, margarine ruins food. Never liked it and my body does not take well to chemicals.

I haven't bought margarine in decades. I use only Land o' Lakes unsalted butter.

Just tried whipping butter & oil. Hope it works, as I miss being able to spread straight from fridge.

Only butter for us...I believe if its not real, your body can't metabolize it....plus it tastes much better!

I LOVE butter! It's a no no for me with high colesterol so I use Becel with olive oil. Warm home made bread with butter, yummmmmmmmm! Oh the things we have to give up as we age. I watched the report on 60 Minutes that said an adult woman should have no more than 100g. of sugar a day. I am not supposed to eat eggs, butter, salt and now sugar?

I can remember the button in the bag.t was one of my jobs when I was 4, a long, long time ago. How fun it was to squish it.

When the kids left home, I switched to butter! They noticed and complained - didn't really bother me!

Oh yes, had a physical two weeks ago and doc said she hadn't seen such good cholestoral numbers all week! I have a little potato with my butter and love it!
