When I can't get to sleep, I play solitare on the computer, or one of the other games. That puts me to sleep in about 30 minutes.

So glad to know other people have the same problem ... sorry ... meaning I'm not alone. My sleep is very sparodic ... no pattern. Last night I was sleeping good and the girls (3 labs) just had to go outside. Then wanted in at different times. It is usually a full moon when they want out in the middle of the night. At least they didn't make me get up at their usual breakfast time.

If you guys are still awake, I just thought I'd let you know, that it wasn't a full moon, but it was a new moon, and it seems that is as bad as a full moon. I worked at a dental office and when we had a full moon, we knew there were be lots of calls with toothaches. Then noticed that at the new moon, the same thing happened. Seriously it does effect something in the body, so hopefully you will all sleep good tonight.

I have a small hand held solitare game (from WM) that I keep on the bed and play when I can't sleep.....it makes my mind go blank so I don't try to out think other things.....sometimes I turn the tv on, turn the volume down to a dull roar, then turn away from it....I also sleep with a fan on just for the white noise effect.......

My youngest daughter who does not live with me, just adopted two full grown cats....they sleep fairly well until about 5 a.m. and then they decide it is play time...they run, slide, jump and one of them pushes things off the night table...I told her to get over it...that is life when you are grown !!!!

I'm an early riser too. Love the chicks in your avatar. Are these pin cushions. Seems like I have seen a pattern for them. Do you have one?
