Not regularly, though I do go. I'm in the process of moving, and if there's one near where I move to, I'll of course check it out.

In past years, I've lived near a couple billed as Amish farmers' markets. The Amish were doing the selling, but often it wasn't even their own produce. They'd just go buy it wholesale from the same places the groceries got it. Not local, no difference in quality, often higher, not lower, prices. I rarely bought those things. However, they did sell their own baked good and cooked items, so I often bought cakes, chicken croquettes, various types of salads, apple dumplings.

Have also shopped at a couple of gourmet farmers markets. Again, often not their own produce, but it was fun to buy gourmet goodies. One vendor sells fresh-squeezed orange juice, and that's the first thing I look for when I'm there.

I usually get tomatoes and a certain type of plum when they are in season. Really, though, I love going to the chile festival where you can get everything chile!!

I love the farmer's market. I buy just about all of the fresh veggies and most of the fruit.
Sometimes we drive to the large farmers market in Houston and then I buy by the bushel, crate, or bag and freeze for the winter. It's cheaper than me trying to grow a garden. I have the black thumb when it comes to plants of any kind. My family says the only thing I can grow is plastic pots. I keep everyone supplied.
