I love purchasing locally grown fruits and vegetables from our farmer's market, but with the heat and drought this year, our farmers don't have much to sell.

All of the above. We also have several farm markets that are open daily. Great way to get fresh homegrown stuff. Shipping just seems to take away from the flavor.

I don't go to the Farmers Mkt, but I belong to an organic veg/fruit coop. We get fresh stuff from Nov - May. I'm looking forward to Nov

Almost anything, but fresh corn is the best. When I was little, farmers used to sell bouquets of fresh flowers. I keep looking for some since I don't garden anymore, but haven't found any.

In season, I buy everything.

Blueberries, beets with the tops, onions, carrots, green beans, melons, corn, peppers, eggs, etc.

Tonight's dinner was free range chicken with nicoise salad. Dessert was fresh peach and blueberry cobbler. Tomorrow we are having the ice cream from the fresh eggs, that were laid on Sunday. :)
