He snores awful but we sleep together when he is in town gone months at time. I think maybe we should try another sleep test?????????????did not know he could die..
I am tired all the time. I did a sleep study last year at this time and they told me I don't have sleep apnea. Well, I didn't sleep either. Though DH say's I only snore softly, I am so tired, I know I don't sleep well, sometimes I don't fall asleep, other times I will wake a lot and my husband says that sometimes I will jerk every 15 seconds or so when I first fall asleep, for a couple of hours. Maybe I need to have it redone as well!!

Feeling fatigued and failing to be rested from your sleep can be from many things, not just sleep apnea. Maybe you ought to mention it to your doctor. It may be a sleep disorder, but it may be a sign of some other health condition.

DH doesn't snore, but he makes noise all night long, different noises. I get used to one and then he changes his tune. I just nudge him and he stops. I'm a very light sleeper so I used a sound machine to drown out his noices. I'm a morning person and he's a night owl. Last night we went to bed at about the same time, that's the first in many years. Now if I could get the cat to stop snoring. I have to make sure who needs to be nudged before I start poking. He had to sleep in his chair for a period of time due to an illness. Even with his noises I prefer for him to sleep with me.

Mousie: you can have fibromyalgia and not sleep well at alllllll...and not actually have sleep apnea.
I have fibro.
It's like stair steps...you go down 1,2,3,4
and never make it to stage 4...then start bouncing back up to 1...all night long.
Wake up feeling run over!

Does this ditty I wrote one sleepless night give you a clue?

Ode to Snoring:

I pull down my eyelids
...like shades over doors
But the man beside me,
has breath that roars.

Terrible apnea. A sleep study revealed he was waking around 30 times an hour. CPAP has worked wonders and given us BOTH better quality sleep.

Remember Dear Abby? Years ago she had a lot of input about snoring, but this has always stuck with me.

"Snoring is the sweetest music on earth. Ask any widow."

And, with that in mind, if snoring is an issue for me in my bed, I snuggle up. Works every time.

I have insomnia, sleep either for hours or not at all...so one of us is usually sleeping in the recliner, or up, and the other sleeping in the bed,or gone!

We decided a long time ago that sleep was more important than childish feelings.
You don't know how much I appreciate your response....! :^)
