I used my mothers wedding dress when I got married. We have been married 35 years & the dress is in the cedar chest again. It is now 62 years old.

I still have mine and it's been hanging in a garment bag for almost 43 years. I couldn't fit in mine if I tried! I weighted about 115 @ the time I got married! :-D

my dress was borrowed and not really my style...quick wedding...we were suppose to get remarried after my son was born....I ended up getting my money back on the one I had on lay away...I always say some day...but I keep getting older and older and will not be the beauty that we all dream about by the time if ever we redo our vows...29 years..

Still have mine in a box after 24 years. I would love to have my 4 daughters wear it, but they have tried it on and doesn't fit. My second choice would be to make it into a baptismal gown. Just haven't gotten the nerve to do it yet. Maybe some day. With my mom's help, I had cross-stitched our ring bearer's pillow.

I still have my wedding dress and veil and also the topper from my wedding cake. They are 54 years old and are still in very good condition.
