I make quilt tops for both the charity my guild supports and Quilts of Valor. I only make tops. Others in my guild finish them and turn them into "real" quilts. I don't deduct anything on taxes. A lot of what I make, comes from scraps from personal projects I've made.

I just give... no records and no deductions. It's between the Lord and I, not the IRS and I.

I quilt....I stack....then, when something touches me, I give. Mostly to vets and their families. I don't track and report on taxes....
