Hands down German Rotties, They are loyal and smart and very protective. They have personality to spare.
I have 2 and the female is due with puppies Oct. 20th
I'll keep one of them also.

Beagles here, then again, that's all we've ever owned. They can be a pain when they catch a scent.

Favorite: Siberians hands down. A certain Sib/wolfdog still has my heart and she's been gone 6 years.

Current:
Liliana Grace - Siberian Husky/Shiba Inu/Malamute, starting to relax enough to act like a Sib after being here four years.
Moira Mae - Border Collie/Lab, a very smart little dog.
Both pound dogs.

We love shetland sheepdogs. Our first came from a neighbor breeder, our second came from a kennel as a showdog reject, and our third one was a rescue. Wonderful personalities.

I like my black mouth cur! Same as Ole Yeller. Also dachshunds and dalmatians. (although I do not recommend dals for families with small children)
