My DH came home crabby and annoyed me. I also was trying to pay his monthly business state sales tax. I couldn't get the numbers to work out. The aggravation made me eat 4 pieces of chocolate. I wish I could quit doing this.
The FQ theme for March is orange.Pete I already have your FQ for March.

We finally got some rain yesterday. It has been a warm winter. Today is huge clouds with bright blue between.
I am working on making 2 huge pots of soup. One is a Broccoli, Zucchini, Cauliflower soup and the other is home made Chicken noodle. We are having our small group over for "Soup night" tomorrow. I need to feed from 12 to 17 people. I hope the Veggi one turns out good. I will let you all know.

Wednesday I am driving down to see my newest grand and her brothers. My oldest daughter and her two are suppose to drive with me but at the moment they have colds. We are also going to visit my mother and my MIL and step FIL and introduce them to their newest Great grand.
I don't know if I mentioned, but my Step Father in law fell at the gym about 4 weeks ago. He broke his arm, 3 ribs, punctured his lung and broke his back. He is slowly recovering but needs a caregiver. They are about 110 miles south of us with Los Angeles in the middle. Anyway, we will stop over there and let him meet the baby and say hi.

Tonight's dinner is going to be leftover Chicken Tortilla soup and Sausage tortellini soup I served last night.

Hope you all stay warm!!!

Busy day for me. I cleaned the house all morning and spent the afternoon making food. I hosted my card group tonight. It was a lot of fun. We have been playing 500 together for 31 years. I showed them a couple of my recent quilts; then they wanted to see my sewing room. I ended up pulling out 5 years worth of quilts to show them. Then I showed them all the baby quilts I made for a sale (that didn't sell). I think they will end up buying some. Woohoo!

Jim's Jim, that's quite a fall! Hope he's going to recuperate well. And to happen while trying to stay healthy (at the gym!!). My Dad goes to his local Y and I've worried about him on the treadmill.

Pam, what is 500? I have a game group and we might be interested. Usually we go out to dinner and/or a movie and then back to someone's house for games. We play Mexican Train, Scrabble, etc. I just discovered a new game: Left, Center, Right. It's played with dice and goes very quickly. No strategy, just luck.

I joined WW on-line. I think it will be good. You can punch in your numbers (calories, fat, etc.) and it calculates the points for the food, OR you can scan the bar code and it calculates it based on that!! I find that pretty cool. I can input things from my computer or my phone which makes it super convenient. I went over my points for the first day (of course!!).

Healthy choices today, everyone. I cannot believe that in a couple of weeks all this messy, cold weather will be behind us.

500 is a card game. It's easy and fun. We play 4 handed but the rules here show other options.

Bunco is another fun dice game. I will have to look up left, center, right.

Well a couple of bad weeks and my weight is up What a bummer. Last week was mid-winter break for the kids and I couldn't stick with my diet. I'm back at it hot and heavy. So is my husband as he also put on a bit of weight. At least this time I'm not waiting until I'm above and beyond my starting weight to get back at it!! My major downfall this week was girl scout cookies, my daughter just got all her cookies in and I've had way too many. I'm also making her troop cookie costumes which just seems like cruel and unusual punishment to anyone dieting

Penni- so sorry to hear of your friend's passing, the trees sound like a nice tribute.

CindyA- I used weight watchers online about 10 years ago and I loved it, it worked SO well for me, but I've tried it again since then with no results. I'd still recommend it, if it works for you it's really easy to use

Judith- Still no improvement on my shoulder, I finally saw the dr and she suggested physical therapy, I just need to make an appointment, but I keep forgetting, oops!!

Thanks for the tips, Pam. I need all the help I can get! That scale just does not want to budge. Maybe it's frozen.
