We have spent the last 5 days in the pool trying to keep all the grandkids cooled off. But even that isn't working. Although they love the pool, the water temp is now up to 88 degrees! Most summers here average aroung 80-85 not 90-95
We are one of those people that DON'T have airconditioning so our fans are running 24/7 This is even the first time on the message board in days because it was too hot to sit still. Hopefully by this week-end we will get a break and i will be able to sew. I guess i'm a true addict HaHa Okay that's all the complaining i'm going to do. Time to get back in the pool.
Thanks for letting me VENT!!

Yup got it here too in Albany. Unbearably hot out there and no central AC at home. Luckily we have a window unit in the bedroom otherwise I wouldn't be able to sleep. Usually when it gets like this here we get afternoon thunderstorms to cool things off the smallest bit but they are not even expecting that until maybe tomorrow. I hate to bitch as well as I love summer but this is just nasty.

It's pretty hot here too, high 90's. All I can say is that Im glad DH came home with air conditioners a few weeks ago. At first, I didnt think we needed them, but now Im glad he did!I have 1 in the sewing room and 1 in our bedroom.

I live in Wyoming and on 4th of July the high was 60, it rained lightly off and on. This a.m. it was 47 when we got up, it's up in the low 60's now, but cloudy and very cool, had to close windows!!! This is not the normal, but our summer's half over and we haven't had summer yet.

We topped out at 105 yesterday. Today, although it's not predicted to go as high, it's going to feel worse because it's more humid! We've been living downstairs because the thermometer upstairs is past 90 even with the air conditioner running full blast--cooler with each level down. Hope this heat wave breaks soon. Until then, I'm not leaving the house!
