It is really humid in East Texas right now. Heat is one thing but add the humidity & it is awful. When my uncle moved to Colorado he put in AC & everybody thought he was crazy but it gets hot there too. He got the last laugh. When Dh works outside he comes back in dripping wet. You know we are in for weird weather when its hot in NY.

Oaky, they say this is the last day of 95 degrees. Tomorrow it's suppose to only be 85!! With some thunderstorms moving in. I can only hope!!! I keep looking at my pile of material just waiting for me. We talked about getting a window aircondioner but hubby thinks the minute we do the weather will turn cold and damp for the rest of the summer....just like a man HaHa I know i shouldn't be complaining because winter will be here soon enough..i just want to sew!! Have a good day everyone!!!

I too would rather have air than food. Been hot here too in central Ill. We don't get a break from the heat to often here till fall comes. Then hard to enjoy because winter is right there waiting to join in. lol

I know it's hot and humid on the East Coast...in Bakersfield, CA, we get over 100 deg every year, sometimes for days and days and days on end. 2 years ago we had 45 days over 100 deg. Last year we had a couple of 108 deg days. But, we don't have humidity. Our most humid days are like 30%, mostly more like 12%. So, you know, there's yours and then there's ours!! :-)

I hear you. We are roasting over here in NH. I didn't do any quilting either. Where I do my sewing is the un-air conditioned part of the house. Thinking of moving my machine upstairs to the A/C. Then at least I can sew.
