I find PayPal tricky also. But, I still think it's the best way to pay.

Is that why PayPal didn't give me any option to change payment method? My PayPal default is bank, but I usually like to change that to a credit card option to give me added protection.

Just wondering........ I will have to think twice about buying off eBay now, as I don't like this.
I just purchased from ebay using paypal, twice within the last week. I could have changed to credit card but didn't want to because of the pay after delivery. So I went back and changed it back to bank.

I agree. I think that is all Ebay takes now, but not 100 percent sure on that.

I'm thinking this happened because I had two items in the cart from two different vendors. Next time I will just buy the items one at a time, as I have always gotten the option to change payment type that way.

You will have to go to the Paypal site to change your credit card to another one.

Perhaps the folks you were purchasing from only accept PayPal.

They did change the screen recently. I made a purchase the other day and missed it so the payment came straight out of my checking account. The following day I made another purchase and this time I was on "alert" and saw that I could change it. It's rather sneaky and I wish they wouldn't do that.

Thank you for suggesting we check our log in. I checked and was not logged out of eBay either.

I love the new checkout at ebay. You can change the payment method on PayPal, just click on "change" before you hit the pay now.
