I love the Greek style yogurt. Most think it's too tangy but that's what I like. You can always add fruit. I don't use sour cream anymore, I use the Greek yogurt. Of course I love to drink buttermilk too.

The price is about the same and I do like it more. I also want to try Yoplait's greek yogurt.

How is Greek yogurt different than regular?
I buy Stonyfield, which is a little more expensive, it's supposed to be all natural. I liked that they were part of the good guys on that Food, Inc documentary

Greek yogurt is thicker and creamer than regular yogurt. I like it but it's different so some don't like it because of the texture; like my daughter is totally a texture eater. It has more protein and is supposed to be better for you. The unflavored is used alot in substitution for sour cream.

It is not quite as good as most of the yoghurt you get in the markets in Greece, but it is still better than the pudding-like other youghurts on the american markets.

The only down fall is that if you leave yogurt on his face it's like concrete. It dries looking like chalk

It's delicious. I've tried the Oikos and the Fage... wouldn't be caught dead with the Dannon or other brands, because most of them have high fructose corn syrup in them. You can make your own Greek yogurt by straining regular yogurt through a cheesecloth "strainer". Watch the dates of expiration. Some stores mark them down considerably five days before they expire. With yogurt, even if they go over a day or two, it won't hurt anything. My favorite is the honey flavor, but if you buy anything but Oikos and Fage, read the ingredients - they also use other sweeteners besides honey. Sometimes it's just 'honey flavor'. Like some of the "pure olive oil" salad dressings... they're really full of other oils, with just a touch of olive oil. Hmmm....

Sam's Club was demonstrating Greek Yogurt last week. Cost figured to be about $1 per cup. Yes it is very good and creamy
