We had 3 T & L storms that dumped buckets of water today. At one point the sun was shining in one window and it was raining outside another. I needed to reboot my modem 3 times when the lightning flashed and lights and CP blinked. More fun on it's way tomorrow! Woo Hoo!

Here it has been 100-107 for weeks. No rain. Everything has burned up. I would trade for a little of that cool weather.

The northeast had a horrible winter, no spring and this summer is terrible. A few nice days is all we've had. Two nights ago it was 57 at 11 pm. Its ridiculous.

This is the first summer in a long time that we've had decent weather. More rain, less heat and our flowers and veggies love it.
Last summer was unbearable and I want to walk to Alaska!!!

OK You asked for it! I just sent you overheated members a garbage can full of rainwater! LOL Please send sunshine by return mail. I put my winter quilt back on the bed yesterday. The only plus is I am getting lots of sewing done. I am hoping to get good weather in Nova Scotia when I go on Aug.7-18 to visit my dd and dgkids. Oh well, what are you going to do? You can't fight Mother Nature; might as well make the best of it. We like to joke that here in BC we have 2 seasons; RAIN AND RUST! LOL

Not Me!!!!!!! I am bottling this weather and am selling it come January and February, gonna buy fabric with the hot weather that is in those jars and bottles and will sit all winter in the house and enjoy sewing!!!!! I figure God knows what He is doing, I'll just let Him do his thing and I will enjoy every hot, humid, muggy, humidity-sloshing day, because I know He is going to dump on us with winter!!!!!! When my husband was really sick (twice) (Leukemia and Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma), I prayed that he would be all right. I prayed and told God I would never complain about anything anymore because my problems were zilch compared to what my husband was going through. Well, guess what? God heard me! And guess what else? I don't complain anymore, at all, one bit! Hot, cold, wet, dry. There is a purpose for everything! And guess what else? My husband was cured of Leukemia (1985) and is cancer free from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (2005). Can't complain on that!!!!!!!
Enjoy the day, and get those jars and bottles out! Edie
