Good Morning,
Las Vegas Nevada is having a cooler summer. It is still hot but I think Texas has had hotter weather. Do you have a garden? I have seen a difference in my pepper plants. Many of my bellpepers never got bigger than 4 inches. Totally weird.

I would die of 100-107 degree heat. Thanks for the reminder that our cool summer may not be so bad after all. Really though, a little happy medium would be nice. My DH just looks out the windows with a long face and watches our hay field bend over in the constant rain. I hope it won't be too late for it if we finally get a batch of no-rain days. We need at least 5. 7 is better. I am usually out gardening in July. Instead I have been quilting. And, that's okay.

If some of you really hot people would promise to send a little of it our way, we in the NW might be willing to share some of the water we get, and be happy. I live in Oregon like some of the others and my tomatoes are on the south side of my house, thank goodness. Coos Bay is just warm enough to grow the cherry tomatoes if we can keep them out of the north wind. it is not warm and it does blow. it is almost 9am and it is trying to rain outside. I just hope that fall will bring us some sunshine. summer sure isn't..... enjoy
