South GA is finally getting some rain. My grass is actually green again for the moment. Most of the crops were already dead.

I'll trade too. Its been 107 degrees for a week here in north Texas. It's almost too hot to breathe.

I would like to trade some of our heat and humidity for a couple days of straight nice gentle rain - my yard is turning brown!

I will never again complain about Pennsylvania weather because according to you guys - we have nothing to complain about. We are droughty right now with all grass having gone from green to brown (didn't happen to us because we didn't mow for the past 4 weeks). Hay was finally made and the corn looks pretty decent. I think I shall stay here - was considering the Northwest as it's so gorgeous there. Patience everyone - this, too, will pass!

Rain rain and more rain. My poor plants are swimming and I don't know if they are going to make it. I planted late thinking I could outsmart Mother Nature but she had a mind of her own. We need some sunshine PLEASE!!!

We live in the Pacific NW and my hubby and I were remarking today that this is the best summer, weather-wise, for us, since we moved here. We love the cooler temps and don't mind rain. In fact today, we walked, with Rusty, in the rain and it was great! I could live with just three seasons - don't like the hot weather at all.

Be thankful you are not experiencing severe drought conditions and temps of 100 & over for 28 days so far this year. And no relief in sight. Unless you can water here....it is brown and very crispy & crunchy. So sad.
