I think I may cry

I have Vista on my laptop and when we first got it I hated it!!! It kept deleting my printers and a couple days later it would tell me that I needed to reload my printer. It is better now with all the updates that they have done to it and it is okay now. But I don't load any sewing related items on it, use my laptop to do that which has XP.

none of my embroidery programs were compatible with my vista...I was and still am very upset. Thank goodness I saved my old computer but it is so slow. At least I can use my programs. If your son finds a fix for yours can you tell me how he did it?

Vista is a memory hog. All sorts of problems when too much memory is being used so do yourself a favor and install Windows 7. I've been running Windows 7 Ultimate since about 7 months before it was available to the general public and I have NEVER had a hitch.

I feel your pain! I had to get a new laptop and am just now getting everything up and running after 3 months. I lost all my email addresses and my saved favorite sites. Ugggg! Hope everything gets up and running for you soon!
