Terri - that is one awesome picture of you and the grands! Olivia looks so bright - eyes wide open and taking it all in. Her brother seems to have the typical boy attitude about him - "what's all the muss and fuss I don't really care to have my picture taken." Those babies are just way too cute. Enjoy them while you can as you will most definitely miss them when you go back to the "pebble".

I think tomorrow we go and have them weighed again. I'll post their weights. I know Lauren stepped on the scale with both of them and she said Little D is about 6 1/2 pounds and Olivia is at about 5 1/2, so that's a good thing.
They are now starting to sleep longer than 2 hours. Right now, Olivia is on hour 3, which is good. Grandma got her belly full, rocked her and put her down and off to sleep she went with a little smile on her face. Little D is on hour 2, so hopefully he will sleep for another hour. I think he's on daddy's chest since daddy took him to the bedroom to change him and didn't bring him back and I don't hear his crying anymore. Little boy does not like his butt changed. lol

getting a dry diaper is a scary proposition!
They lay you on a hard surface (remember, we are no longer floating in water <g>) then they strip off your clothes, and you throw your arms back because you are afraid of falling, and no one takes one of your hands and holds it close to you so you can feel connection ...
very scary stuff ...
being empathetic <g> it is a curse - -and, a blessing <g>

Oh, these babies are spoiled!
The door to their room stays closed to keep the room warm. Their diapers AND wipes are warmed before they go on. Grandma always makes sure there is a blanket or something covering them at all times while being changed except for the "moment" of whipping off diaper and cleaning dirty area.
Little girl could care less, but little boy doesn't like his "boy bits" getting cold. lol

LOL ... they ain't spoiled! they are too new to make that judgment <g> ... they have to be older than me to decide that! LOL
He definitely seems to have an opinion about the event <g>
besides! If he kicks up a big fuss, then he gets all that extra loving because everyone has to rock him and calm him down ... they get smart early, don't they? <g>

And their little personalities are shining thru already. Hopefully mom and dad are seeing that and realizing that they will be what they will be!!
