During my working years I purchased one of those folding sunscreens used to block the sun from shining into the windshield. My dark brown car spent the entire day parked on the south side of my office building in FL. One day I noticed a NOTICE on it which said, and I'd testify to this under oath, "WARNING,Do not operate vehicle while sunscreen is in place." I laughed outloud and a colleague parked several slots away came over to find out what was so funny. Since we are both lawyers it was especially funny.

It's the lawyers with little self respect who file those lawsuits and the idiots on the bench and in the jury box who necesitate those warnings. It's called CYA. The hot coffee damages award was reversed but just reduced, not tossed as it should have been.

I worked so hard all day shampooing carpets. Been cranky and anxious to go to bed--but Ditter, that post cracked me up. I am in here laughing like crazy and DH & DS keep looking in at me like I finally really need the nut house this time. Keet them coming.

Our pontoon has a sticky label on the inside of the sidewall rails that says something like "stay on this side of the rail when boat is in motion". (Something close to that).
I like the ones on electricity things that say "Do not use this in water". Dahhh!

Sure is a shame they have to add such senseless disclaimers. But, I really enjoyed seeing them

(Oh my God..was there a lot of this happening somewhere?)
I always perfered genital stoppage on this one. How else does one become a girl?

Ditter, I like the ones that someone, somewhere, thought was English! They crack me up. Can we get a translator to interpret? "Make is how use" was NOT in my high school English book! lol!

Just a note from a mother who deals with allergies in the family:

Peanuts are technically a legume (like soybeans). People who are allergic to nuts can often eat peanuts without a problem. Conversely, people who are allergic to peanuts can often eat nuts without a problem. You will many times see warnings like: "peanuts processed on equipment used to process tree nuts." Then you avoid it altogether.
