Oh ice cream!!!! Anyone want to go for a DQ this morning? I picked the raspberries last night so we could even bring the ice cream here and have them together.

All right, you bunch of enablers, enough talk of ice cream. I have a day of real work ahead of me and a DQ caramel Moolatte would give me energy and caffeine. It's not going to happen. Nanci, too cute. I have enjoyed every one of the brands.

Ok, one more talk of Ice cream. We're leaving tomorrow after church for a couple days at Shaver lake with the family. It will be my 3 girls, their husbands and my 2 grands, DH's mom & step dad, sister & husband and son, brother & son & his girlfriend and son. The rest of them are driving up today. Dh being a pastor and all needs to go to work tomorrow. Anyway, there is plans for at least 3 batches of Home made Ice Cream. We have a ton of cream and half & half in our fridge and one of the ice cream makers. DD#1 & 3 are caravaning and should be her in a few to fill up the large cooler and take it with them. They both have trucks and can fit the huge coolers in them. So I guess that means that I will HAVE to eat at least some ice cream. I can usually turn down regular ice cream but home-made is another story!!!

Gayle, that sounds like a good time. I LOVE homemade ice cream. I tried to make some last summer for my card group. It was so hot and humid that the ice cream did not set up. At least it still tasted good.

Thank you Brenda! I won't be hiking with them or doing much walking but it will be good to get away for a few days!!!
My food choices will be limited so hopefully I won't gain weight for the time I'm gone!!!!

good afternoon ladies...........i am here and getting ready to head out of the house to go watch the Texas Rangers baseball game against the Minn. Twins. I haven't been to a a base ball game in about 2-3 yrs. This will be fun, the temps are in the high 90's with a 50% chance of thunder storms.

Have a wonderful afternoon. Enjoy a small amount of ice cream.
