I have ordered from Women Within just a word of caution their quality isnt real nice and sizing doesnt seem to be consistant even when getting the same item but in differant colors, I have sent back more than I have kept...I wont shop there any longer I like Lands End now !!

Crazy as it sounds, I've found tall sizes in Walmart when shopping for my 5'11' grand daughter. But they don't have the high waist you're looking for.
Totally agree with you about JCP, I even wrote them and complained. I really miss the catalog too. I never see many people in ours either. They seem to want to draw the younger crowd and forget the "old" customers that used to shop there. I havent purchased anything from them in almost 2 years. I read that they were going to go back to what they used to be but havent seen much of it happen yet.

I am 5'7" and wear a size 16 pants, 35-36 length/short wasted. My friend got me a pair of jeans from Cold Water Creek and they are the best jeans. And they were plenty long enough and still look new after years of washing. I never dry my jeans , always hang them up after pulling on the seams. Woman Witin never has pants with a long enough inseam for me, or arm lenghts .

Try Kohl's. I have just the opposite problem and I can always find something there
