My Great Find on Craigslist - NOT................
#12
Don't give up on Craigslist. I found a HUGE amount of fabric last week for $25.00. It is clean and the lady was a real sweetheart. The fabric was her mother's and nobody in her family sews, so she decided to finally part with it.
This is what I got! (It filled two large rubbermaid containers, just with the cottton fabric. (Ths is JUST the pile of cotton... not counting the second pile with as much non-cotton!)

Oh, no, I couldn't meet her somewhere with the boxes. I have a big Ford pick up truck and all the boxes would not fit in my truck. There are too many. It would take several days to go through them. I said something to that effect about taking days and she said 'I'll provide the coffee'. I would not drink a cup of coffee there. I truly have not seen anything so nasty.

1-800-got-junk.
Despite the reuse/recycle mantra so common today, there is a place for garbage. It's not giving it away piecemeal.
Anyone living in that situation, or inheriting it, needs to pay for haul away. If the city finds out it's being pieced out, the city will come after the person. Get it done quickly and move on.
Cold turkey is the way to go in just about every unhealthy situation.

Yep, everything seems to be a 'sickness' these days.
Used to be folks were just eccentric, strange or wierd but not 'sick'.
I'd get that fabric just as quick as I could if it was me. Just move it outside in the sunshine & pick out the good stuff.

To me, it would take more of an effort than it would be worth.
