Thanks Pat, I can't tell you how this upsets me. I can't kill bugs or anything, they all have a purpose. If I do catch him I can rest assured my husband won't touch it, just dreading this. Where are those outside snakes and why weren't they doing their job???

If it's a choice between a mouse or a snake in my house - I'll take the mouse

OH NO me to!!! But we have seen small black snakes in the yard and have never had any mice. If I had a snake in the house, trust me I wouldn't be here. In Florida, I've heard of many a snake in the house. PLEEEZE SPARE me that.

Well, we've seen black snakes go through our carport in FL. Once we saw a crawling thing that was sort of an orangy pink - I couldn't find anything like it in the four snake books I borrowed from the library.

The lady behind us had at least two in her place. That would freak me out!

The worst we've found when we've come back is a couple of dessicated geckos that were maybe 1 to 2 inches long.

Have you heard about our Python problem, there was one hanging out by a Walmart in town 10 ft long. The day they start dropping out of trees here in town I'm moving back North :( :x

We went on a trip to Key West - and had a short stop in the Everglades - the operators told us that the snakes were becoming pests -

Now THAT's an EEEUUUEEWW

Last year one tried to eat an alligator an it exploded. Now that's pretty bad, and in today's paper on the front page they had an article about African rock pythons, that are very aggressive showing up in out Park here. Go to www.heraldtribune.com it's on the front page. I'm really not loving Florida so much anymore. If we don't get hurricanes we get huge snakes. I guess my little mouse isn't so bad any more.
