Well, I already told you my guess. It is documented that girl fetus' (and newborns) have higher heart rates than boys. More than 140=girl, and yours was in the 150's, so it is DEFINITELY a girl.

    I learned this working NICU's and PICU's.

Really? I can't really compare, since this is my first, but the way things are going sometimes I think there are two or three of them in there, I'm getting kicks and jabs from all over! Either that or the baby's doing some kind of weird african tribal dance where they hop and jump and wiggle all over the place, lol!

I hope you're right, I've always wanted a girl first... I mean, we'll be happy either way as long as the baby is healthy, but I've always wanted a girl first... strange eh?

    I still say girl.

Somehow I cannot imagine you are really pregnant.
When I was three weeks pregnant I had to start wearing maternity clothes. By the time I was 20 weeks, my mom who had had 5 kids, kept asking if I was sure of my due date. She stated to the day she died she had never seen a pregmnant woman as big as me! I gained 45 lbs. Baby weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz. 21 1/2" long. She now is bigger than I am. She kicked more than my son, too.

At least you will have no weight problems and you will alway's have a nice petite figure.
    Congrats!

Okay! I just have to say - I can not believe you are pregnant!
I have a belly the same as yours (if not bigger) and my baby is 6!!!! Maybe standing in front of the dark dresser is hiding some of it. I doubt though! You are one lucky girl!
I would have to go with the majority and say a girl too!! With a heart rate that high, makes me think a girl!!
    Good luck on Thursday!
