Thank you Barbbrad for my wonderful gift. I love the fabrics you sent me. How did you know that metallics are a favorite? I needed flat-head pins. I'm sure the ruler will be put to use. I've never made a log cabin block before. Now I have no excuse not to do one.

Oh My Goodness!!! Winnona!!!! I cannot Tell you how fun fun fun it was to open your present.

The darling christmas stocking! It's lined with the same fabric that is on the cuff. It has appliqued heart and star and little buttons and a felt heart with a santa on it. It is the Cutest thing! I know a lot of time went into making it, and I find that so touching.

I've acquired an unfinished vintage velvet crazy quilt, handsewn of course. Winnona sent me beautiful cotton laces for it, and gorgeous velvets for embellishing it, and a card of sweet pearly buttons. She also included some Yummy fabric squares - 6". I want to make something special from them. She included Lovely fat quarters too, all wrapped in lace.

And a German quilt magazine! How fun is That!!!

also tucked inside my stocking was a German chocolate bar. Chocolate from Germany!!! The best in the World.

I am overwhelmed, and so touched with the personalization of my secret santa gifts.... I feel that I've made a dear friend in germany.

Thank you, Winnona... xoxo

I want to thank "The London Zoo". Tink and I received so many lovely things from her. A beautiful pillow sham in a Dresden Plate design, Fat Quarters that are wonderful...Chocolate (for me, not Tink) Thangles...I can't wait to use them. a couple of patterns and a kit to design a snowflake.
She also sent some things for llittle Tinkerbelle...a terrific squeaky toy and a licsence plate with her name. And some pink ribbon that has a Chihuahua with a crown and tutu...she must have known that we call Tink, her royal highness.
Thank you again...sooo thoughtful of you. Susie

my haul of gifts

Thank you Minnesewta-Sam for the very generous parcel. I love the golf fabric. Now I can finally make a golf themed quilt for myself. I especially like the geometric shapes - have been wanting those for a while. Also, the label is so neat. I really like everything you sent, you have certainly outdone yourself.

Thank you again, you are too kind.
