Cindy,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have been where you are and share your concerns.
I did walk today, 150 steps to the lake and 150 steps back. I panted but walked slow and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We saw ducks and turtles and happy, splashing fish.
We shared our lunch with a man fishing at the lake. We had plenty and he seemed to enjoy it.

Cindy, that's a shocker! I'm glad you are in good hands and will pray for a good outcome.
Lynne, the inside of the fridge is a cool, dark place. I have that garlic concoction in mine. I didn't finish it. I wonder how it tastes after a few months. For the onions and honey, just chop them up and top with honey and eat with a spoon. I had to steam mine and let them cool so I didn't kill the enzymes in the honey. Raw would have been better, but at that point, I couldn't eat them totally raw. The doctor had tried everything to get rid of the cough and congestion, but it was the o & h that worked. You need probiotics if you've had antibiotics. Solaray Multidolphilus is my fav, but look for any decent brand of acidoliphilus. It replenishes the good bacteria in your system that the antibiotics kill off with the baddies. That has a lot to do with immune system.
MJ, enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, but from the chair.
Missy, great picture. Love the smile.
Yes, Lynne, I am quilting. Finishing FMQ on the star and trying to work wildlfe panels into a quilt. They aren't even the same size, so it's interesting. Then I need to work out some odd size blocks to go around the panels.
My turn to have a headache, (again) so off to get fresh air to see if it helps. Down in weight a bit this morning. Xylie, I may make your challenge. I've passed mine.

I just read an interesting article about artificial sweeteners causing weight gain. I can link it if you want, but I thought I'd ask because I know I push my anti-Nutrasweet and Splenda ideas at least once every month.

My headache's better. I walked over two miles and sat by the lake for a while. A nice cure. Tomorrow's the Crop Walk. I will walk that without the dogs and later I'll have to walk them. Moira just can't go, darn it.

biopsies results so far are negative, but still have to have surgery sometime next week. Not sure how long I will be online after I do have surgery until I get home.
Thank you all for you prayers and I dont like this competition.

Pam-I'll be praying for your daughter, I'm really sorry that she had to go through that.
Cindy-I hope everything turns out well, and that your surgery goes well and you heal quickly.
Missy-Just wanted to say congrats on the weight loss, it's awesome you fit in one leg of your old pants now.
I wanted to say thanks to you all, this is the first time I've really stuck with a lifestyle change like this. (Usually I was lucky to make it a week. LOL) I know a lot of that has to do with having your support, and the collective knowledge here. I officially hit one-derland! That was my big goal for the month, so I'm really happy. Today we did yard work for awhile, every bit helps.
I hope everyone's health is getting better, and that your weekend is fun. :-)
