haha meanmom, I hate it when Anything creeps up on me

From my observation you have to exercise like a professional athlete to lose serious weight.
Think about what you Do do now, and use this calculator.
    https://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc
We don't all burn calories at the same rate because we are different sizes to begin with.

My mantra is small plate smaller servings. So easy to forget in this country of plenty.

All that said, Any exercise is good for our health. Period.
My fitbit reports are always between 22-25 miles a week. Yes, I go out and actually walk (today so far it was 3000 steps around the Port while Rob rode his bike). 10,000 is touted as the goal for healthy activity. So instead of doing that multitasking we all seem to have in our genes, I don't wait until I have 4 things to take upstairs. If I have something in my hand that needs to go up, up I go. That is 26 stairsteps plus walking to and from It all adds up.

Maybe get yourself a couple of really pretty small dish settings. and use them, it will help jog the memory about servings. I love Blue Willow sandwich plate and a small blue Willow oval platter I use. They just make me smile...

I'm not in it for the fabric, I'm using my stash, but I do enjoy sharing our tips and tricks and knowing we aren't going it alone.

    I'm back...
According to Fitbit/MyFitnessPal and the above link I burn about 1600 calories a day.
It takes 3500 calories to gain or lose a pound. Last month I lost 2 pounds which means I burned at least 7000 calories more than I consumed. To lose quicker I'd probably need to target about 1200 max calories a day. But I'm not on a diet, I'm trying to stay alive. More about that later

Count me in for September. Did I send in my pink already? This old brain isn't working.
I am not doing BIG losses each month, but I am losing and that is what makes me happy!!!!!!
Thanks for doing this, Mean Mom! Jim's Gem - I am sooo jealous! I wanted 6, but was never blessed with children. PenniF - congrats on quitting smoking! I also quit smoking (20 years ago) and now can't stand the smell of smoke. If you put away, each week, the $$$ you would have spent on cigarettes you could get a whole new wardrobe in no time! I saved mune and then used it to travel.

I'm in. This will help motivate me. I rejoined WW for the umpteenth time in Aug. and lost 10.4 pounds in three weeks eating only the "Simple Start" menu. I seem to have leveled off now, so this challenge will, I hope, keep me focused.

Good luck to everyone of us!

Pete, I guess I should say, 4 grand babies and one more on the way in January. This one is supposed to be a girl. Yes, I am so very blessed. One of my, sort of, goals in life is to have more grands than children and #5 will do that for me. I have 4 children. These grands are all from my oldest 2

I have FQ from meanmom, Pete, bjsmith57, PamH, TeddyBearLady, Purl, Nic14 Cindy A. I have been driving my elderly uncle to PT. He always wants to go out to dinner or ice cream afterwards. It is his way of paying my sister and I. Against my better judgement we went to Wendy's today. I ate a smoked gouda chicken sandwich. Sounds delicious, but it was disappointing. So not worth the calories! I am sure it was a lot of WW points.
