that is sooo old school..I have diabetic since I was 16....I have 20 tats...no problems with any of them healing at all...

Hell that would be like not having kids...or any surgery...really...

tats don't go that deep and if you are healthy and take care of it while it is healing it will be fine!

My daughter got one in college. She spent years thinking about it, worryign that she would outgrow it. I love her tat. she designed it and it really is lovely. For me, if I ever get below 130 pounds, my reward is a tattoo. I will have Erte's letter L, a lovely tall woman with a leopard lying at her feet, done on my left butt cheek. On my left ring toe, I want a small wreath of green leaves and violets. We'll see....

No tattoos for me. My grandpa had some and made me promise to never get any or he would come back and haunt me.....I think he really would!

I have (1) tattoo and that one is about 30 something years old, and it's the name of my EX, but it's concealed and no-one knows where it's at, unless I tell everyone.

It's well hidden.
I like tattoos on other people, but this will be the only tattoo for me.

As long as your blood glucose level is under control and you take care of the tat properly there should be no problem!
