Parking was dicey....directly off the street in front of the shop. Be careful.

Enjoy all the sights of St. Aug.
We were camping at Anastasia St. Park. Been there several times.

Safe travels.
YES, My husband left me at the quilt shop while he went to look at beach bikes. I spent too much money there, but got a lot of treasures...!

We live just about two hours south of St. Augustine. St. Augustine is very historical and you will love it! Be sure to see the oldest school house in America on St. George Street. St. George Street has lots of different and cute shops to browse through and enjoy. Also visit the Old Fort - lots of history there. If you can take the trolley train that takes you around St. Augustine, you can get on and get off at different stops and you will get a lot out of that from the driver narrating - it is well worth it and will give your feet a break. The Columbia restaurant is well known in different cities in Florida - more than your fast food type of thing - but if you want the feel of the Spanish influence, you will enjoy it very much.

I am fortunate enough to live here in St Augustine for 44 years, and love every day of it.what time of the year are you planning your visit? if you like seafood - you've got to check out O'steen 's ( on Anastasia Blvd, a part of A1A highway).restaurant and there's an antique shop(very large) attached to their PA system. You sign in and go browsing and they 'll call out your name when a table is ready. one of the many things you can do.If you're adventuresome, check out the Lighthouse- and climb their 213 steps to the top, hope this is helpful.

If either of you are golfers, there is the World Golf Hall of Fame. We both golf, and loved it.

Got some wonderful ideas. We will be in that area n feb 20th for 2 nights. Of course, stopping a quilt shop along the way is a must. Smile! Thanks for all the inputs.

We visited St. Augustine about 4 years ago. Stayed in a bed and breakfast and loved it! Took the trolley downtown each day and walked the streets. Just a beautiful and interesting historical spot. My husband worked in Fernandina Beach just above Jacksonville and we loved doing things there. Jacksonville is a busy place to get around in so we liked the quieter areas near there. Hope you have a wonderful trip. Great time of year to be there!

Take the tram tour in St. Augustine (a tad pricey, but worth it) and then you'll know what else you want to see. It gives a great overview of the town and history. Be sure to get off the tram at the stops and see what's to see and then the tram will pick you up and take you to the next spot. Daytona is 1 1/2 to 2 hours away (south) and the drive is along the coast. You MUST go to Daytona to walk on the beach and in the water. Go north and see Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. We have lived in this area off and on since 1973. Very different from Warren. It's okay to PM me if you want more information. Enjoy the trip.
