Many years ago, a high school friend of our son once asked us when he went off to college..............Where does the white go when the snow melts? !

To this day when I see this now young man and father, I laugh and ask if he ever learned where the white went.

How in the world do pairs of sneakers get up on the telephone wires?

I don't find many things belly laughing funny (seems that I have a slow sense of humor), but my DH always knows when I am reading something on this site. I laugh so hard that I get tears in my eyes.

I can tell you why the shoes hang on the telephone wires. It is gang members marking their territory it it also used for marking drug gangs too! I used to live in Ca. In an area with a lot of gangs problems.

I wonder what my 11 year old grandson is thinking when he looks at me. He is autistic and doesn't talk. He says a few words, but he doesn't talk. I can see in his eyes that he wants to say something, that he is thinking something. We hope every day for a breakthrough that may never come.

i wonder what my mom is thinking all the time - she has advanced Alzheimer's and often looks at us like she understands but just never know. we are careful what we say b/c wouldn't it be horrible and cruel if she understood and we were saying mean things?

I wonder why the drivers in my State of Louisiana do not use turn signals when they want to turn. Are they afraid they might get an electrical bill at the end of the month if they use the turning signal. I have lived in a lot of other states, but Louisiana seems to be the worse for this..no use of turn signals. I also wonder why there are drive in dacquiri shops here in Louisiana...drinking and driving is illegal, but for some reason, only in Louisiana can you drive up, order a dacquiri, or a quart of dacquris and then drive away with it on your lap. Are we actually to believe that they don't drink it on the way home? This could be the reason that we have the highest car insurance rates in the country.

Could never understand why a woman will do a fuss if she is caught with only her bra and panties, come summertime she is all over the place with her bikini.
