I've run out of ideas - plus with soccer season in full gear I have to either cook in the crock pot or have something quick and easy because no one is getting home until 8!
Actually, that's what I started to do - just like when I was a kid. Monday is beef, tuesday is chicken, Wednesday is Prince spagetti day (grew up in Mass.), Thursday is leftovers, Friday is fish, Saturday and Sunday are up for grabs. Growing up, Saturday was ham and beans.

Stone Pizza. Kinda like stone soup...I bring the dough and sauce, One friend brings the pepperoni, someone else brings beef and chopped onions, and another dear friend brings the cheese.

Then we munch pizza, laugh, and play cards!

Stuffed flounder. Flounder was on sale today. Bought enough for 2. Made a stuffing out of shrimp, Ritz crackers (use whatever crackers you have) melted butter and garlic powder, parmesan cheese and oregano. Lay one thin fillet in the dish, top with stuffing and bake for 10 minutes (can broil if you like it crispy) . Top with another fillet, sprinkle with paprika and bake for 10 -12 minutes. Cook shrimp before making the stuffing or use cooked, then you can taste the stuffing and adjust seasonings to your liking. Oh, bake at 350.

Everyone's dinner sounds so good! Tonight we're just having corned beef cooked in the slow cooker. No cabbage, but will put potatoes and carrots in later. Got rye bread because hubby likes sandwiches made from it.
