I'm sorry you feel put off by it, but if you read the Secret Quilt Angel posts, you willl see why we are In Hiding and for the remainder of the year we wish to keep it that way. We are only dong this for a short time. If you go to the top of the page, go to SEARCH, and type in your question, you will see you are not the only one to ask. I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.

I see a lot of first posts from people with "in hiding" for the location. How do people that have never even posted get in the secret angel swap?

Hope this is not meant for me as I posted over 5700 x's and have been on here well over a year.

The SQA swap signups occured in Dec. and we started in Jan. swapping. Chele is in charge. I don't think you can jump in, but PM her and ask. No harm in doing so.

I'm w/ Sassy on this. It is interesting to know where folks are from, and several times I have sought or responded to inquiries about local shopping, mutual acquaintances or just to exchange pleasantries about a place I have visited. I don't care where people live in a malicious or scary way, but in a caring way.
People who are comfortable with it will continue to do it, and there may be some who overlook that option in their newness.

people who want to share, will. I'm a little sorry that people keep forcing the issue with this question. No offense to the original poster. Again, I must ask, why does it matter? Just enjoy the board and what it has to offer.

I don't figure people can do much knowing I live in Illinois. It's a large state. I am also willing to narrow it down to Northern Illinois. Still alot of space to cover :)

I think what we should all remember is what the cops are always telling us: Don't share anything over the internet. Perhaps this is why some people prefer to remain anonymous and we need to respect that. I have some friends who are seriously afraid of ex's and do everything "in hiding" when on the net. It's all out there and if they are looking for you, they will find you, even here.

Hi fellow Arizonan- I'm from Idaho originally, but now I consider myself an 'almost native' of AZ. The transformation from the 'green of mountain states' to desert wasn't too hard for me as I was too busy raising kids and attending their functions to think about it. Although, when we went on a picnic one time, here in AZ, I asked where 's the water ?(lake, river, stream, ) and my husband turned to me and said,"What are you talking about?", that I realized there was a BIG difference. But, I love AZ and wouldn't think of living anywhere else.
