Listen ladies, if you live long enough you won't have to shave your legs. The hair stops growing except for an occasional sprout here and there. :):):)

I have them waxed. No stubble, no itch. Only have to do it once every 6 weeks. And yes, I bikini wax too. (Ouch!)

And now for another too-personal question... How far up do you go when you shave your legs?

My mother taught me that you only go as far as your knees, because if you shave all the way up your thighs, the hair will grown back darker and thicker there and you'll have to shave them forever. (This may have to do with the fact that women in my family have very dark, hairy legs below the knees and much sparser, lighter, thinner hair above them. Or it may be a generational thing - I've never known.)

But I think most of my generation (those born in the '50s and '60s) shave all the way up the thigh, which I do less regularly than the hair below the knees.

And I gather the younger generation does either a bikini shave that results in a slim "landing strip" of hair down the center of the "womanly part) or shaves it off completely - and some leave the hair there and shave in cute little designs like hearts. Hmmm, am I the only one who does not do this???? Or am I behind the times and you all shave "all the way" now? Or have you always done this?

Hate shaving.... only do it b/c my husband hates hairy legs. Less often in the winter :) Only up to the knee. Can't really see the hair from knee up, so why shave it?!

I shave every other day. Mainly because the tattoo on my calf doesn't look good hairy.

Sorry ladies. but I only have about 10 hair on each leg,all below the knee, and none on my arms    My oldest son is the same way, and he blames me because he isn't more "manly" I just use a little neet about once a month. If I had to shave all the time, that would drive me crazy! :-D

As someone else said, if you live long enough you don't have to shave. I'm almost there. I only have to shave my shins. That's about the only advantage of getting older, oh and no more underarm hair.
