I would like to be....
Still a little to young...
I'm tired of working. I'd like to stay home and quilt more and volunteer more.

I would lilke to be retired but it will be a few years before I am old enough to retire. I am imcreasing my stash so I will have something to do when I can quit working. I like to plan ahead.

I retired at the age of 37, from a company I started at the age of 17.
One gets quite ambitious when one's Dad says you will end up being a welfare Mom since I had my first child at age 16.

I retired 10 years ago from banking. Stock market fell and took all my retirement so what to do but QUILT. Opened my longarm quilting business and never looked back! Love working in the flower gardens, vegetable garden, and housework. This week DH and I have painted the wellhouse, power cleaned and sealed the deck. There's time for fishing, horseback riding and attending all the grandkids sports.

Yes, I retired on June 4, 2009 after teaching junior high for 35 years. I am told that eventually I'll stop having "school" dreams, but they still occur about every two weeks!

I am not retired have 3 more years to go. DH had to retire suddenly 5 years ago due to health problems. It's been hard due to the sudden loss of income. Hopefully things will get a little better this fall when he will be able to draw his regular retirement pay instead of the little bit disability he has been getting and finally will be able to draw his SS pay.

I retired 10 months ago. Finally completed a quilt top I started 25 years ago. I have one I started about 30 years ago and I am caught up.

My brain thinks it is retired. It has a had time showing up to work with me. Makes life hard. I get to retire in 5 more years. Sounds like a life time.
