The "A" (as in applique) word
#71
I have always hand appliqued. I have tried machine and don't like it. I sometimes use fusable (light) and do a buttonhole stitch around but I like to turn pieces under 1/4 inch and then do an invisable stitch. I really like that look. If you want quick, I guess hand done is not for you, but for me it's the actual handwork that I enjoy.

Janis, I got my applique tape at JoAnn's I think. It is a skinny tape that is only about 1/4 inch wide. I also know my local quilt shop has a glue that is supposed to do the same thing, but I haven't tried it yet. I think the tape is made by clover (but I don't have the packaging anymore). Hope that helps!
