I don't get "overwhelmed" but today I was really getting frustrated trying to find co-ordinating fabric in my stash.

I wondered why my sewing room was warmer then the other rooms. My cabinets are on the ouside wall.

I don't have that problem, I'm like Stewy, I'm still working on building my stash.

No, I am always up for more fabric. It's funny when I go to town - I will tell myself - no stopping at the fabric store - but sure enough the fabric store is on my route so I can't just drive by - have to stop and see what is new - I can always find something to buy.

Hi,
Yes I totally understand....I made a resolution I would not by another piece of fabric until I reduced my stash by half......so far have not bought any fabric and have finished my first quilt top of the new year. Now it is not quite as overwhelming. I am sticking to this. Huggs Judy

I don't feel overwhelmed by it I just worry that if I don't stop buying more fabric, impossible, when I clock my clogs my family won't find them a good home as there aren't any craftswomen in all of my family  I think I might have to write a codicil in my will :!:

QuiltingaddictUK, I worry about the same thing because my daughters do not sew and my granddaughter does not have time. I need to use it all up.

I know that's all very un-quilter like but I just do best when things are organized. Organization to me is buying fabric for a specific purpose, using it and finishing that project before starting another. It's just what I've found works best for me. :)
You poor baby! Just hang out here a bit longer, we'll fix you right up. You'll be buying, folding, stashing, hoarding in no time! :-)
