    you were truly thankful and she knew that she was appreciated. good for you. I too gave my Doctor and his Nurse quilts before I left Colorado.

    You gave her a wonderful gift and she will treasure it. She will remember you and feel proud that she was able to help you. You made her feel appreciated. Good for you!

    What a great gift and for your doctor to really appreciate your thoughtfulness. We don't often tell our doctors how much we appreciate them.

    Thanks for sharing. I will be putting my Vet on the lists of quilts I want to make. He's taken care of my fur babies for 25 years or so and is a wonderful gracious man.

    That was very nice of you and yes I agree with you about people not appreciating getting a quilt. They are expensive to make. I gave a quilt to my husband niece in 2012 and have never even received a thank you from her.

    I am real careful who I give quilts to anymore.

    My mom made a quilt for a doctor who was instrumental in saving my brother's life, and the appreciation was deep and heartfelt. He mentioned it often and with pride, when ever he saw her.
