These are the burp cloths I made for my daughter who just had her baby. I used warm and natural batting and flannel on both sides. Her little girl is a major spitter upper and they are very absorbent and they love them. I made 12, 6 camo for him and 6 flowers for her!!

Good Luck!!

I use cute fabric on one side then good quality flannel on the other. Thats all the stitch around the edge after turning it right side out and call it done. My daughters use these over and over and have no problem with leaking through.

I used flannel on one side, and toweling on the other. I bought a nice bath towel on clearance. My girls love these, and ask that I make some for every baby shower they go to.

I use prefolded cloth diapers. Then I add about 2inch fabric border to the bottom. U can also deco. stitch down the tri fold lines, or use ricrac.

I use terry cloth in the middle, I have used cotton for some of them and flannel if I make them in the winter. And a minky fabric on the back for a smooth feel.

check out my etsy site.
