But are the prices as sweet?

700 stitches per minute is fast enough for me. LOL It may not seem fast when you compare it to a "true" long arm, that has a speed 1400+, but believe me, 700 is fast.

I have a long arm and bad knees (ones been replaced but still gets painful after standing for hours). I don't have back problems because the frame is set at the right height---just a little higher than when my elbows are bent. Also-I make a habit of taking a break every couple of hours.

Also---keep in mind that with most long arms the machine is moved and the back, bat, quilt is rolled onto the bars so no basting needed. With a sit down you are moving the quilt and would need to bast some way. Important differences.

Good to know! We are closing on our new home in a couple of weeks, so my decision won't be long after that! Stay tuned!
