I am not giving up. Just setting it aside to do some other projects. I also feel that perhaps I should start with a bargello that requires wider strips. This one was so small that it was a real pain to iron and like I said, it fell apart after I cut it. I grabbed a larger portion of pieced strips and pulled on it and it did not come apart. My motto with quilting that if it isn't fun, I am not doing it... so I will make another one, just bigger strips with much smaller stitch length.
