thanks, shaverg, and lacelady for web addies :D
poor Hans, guess he gets to be the fall guy, lol. Well, after you see BW's suggestion, maybe you can make it up to him, lol!
Izy, everytime i scroll down on previous page, i see your quilt pics, and think, wow, don't remember which one that is, but isn't it pretty!
ooh, la, la!
Good advice about the removal, think I might go with nail clippers, like Loretta (?), brain fog, lol...it's early...
hubby hates it when I clip my nails.
He says you should keep them in a neat little pile, and transfer to garbage can.
Well, ok, never thought about it, till I married the 'big foot' with toenails the size of flying saucers, LOL!!!

OMG QC you are such a star!! You make me laugh so much, I KNOW exactly where you are coming from with the flying saucers...and they certainly 'fly' along way from the clippers too...DO NOT ASK HOW I know this...p.s. they don't belong to me I might add
Never thought about using nail clippers, will have a go next time Loretta
That quilt was my first sampler quilt QC which I did alot by hand with embroidery etc.... :D

I have a basting gun and its rack. Use it mostly for fixing paper labels to yardage in my stash, or to pieces of batting. Tried it for basting, but didn't like the staples getting in the way of machine quilting, and they do leave the sandwich rather shifty. Much prefer spray basting, then adding long stitches of hand-basting. Yeah, I know it's probably overkill, but it's what I need to do.
