Maybe you got a lemon, like the lady who started this thread when her Hobbs batting went bad. She contacted the company and received replacement merchandise.
Let us know if The Warm Company is of any help. They advertise on the sewing programs so should respond.

Interesting post - I'm layering a quilt with Hobbs tomorrow - first time to use it, and don't plan to prewash. I've openend it up and layed it out on a bed for the day to relax the wrinkles - was thinking I may tumble it in the dryer a bit if needed to smooth out more wrinkles - sure hope I don't have problems ...

Many quilters tumble their packaged Hobbs in the dryer with a damp cloth. It helps relax the wrinkles and softens up the resin bond.
