Mee toooo !! First grandchild !!! They don't want to know the sex until it's born so I guess the first quilr will just be bright colors.

Congrats! I'm in IL too and actually a L&D nurse. Get started on grandma-made gifts now, but keep it secret from them. We know you're good at that. Lucky baby.

congrats!! I made my bfd a 3Dpinwheel in bright jewel colors nd white, The new mom loved it so much she hung it on the wall of the babys room.

Wonderful news. Congratulations.
For a quilt, nobody has mentioned Warm Wishes. Great pattern and made in bright colors it is a charmer. Make one now and when she decides on decor then you can make one to match.

how exciting! we grandmas can tell you how different and neat it is to be a grandma, but you don't get it until you are a grandma. they are such a little treasure without the mundane day to day worries and responsibilities of being the parent.
you're gonna love it.
and i can't keep secrets either. you made it more than 24 hours so that is pretty good!
