Peggy 119, try making some monochromatic blocks -- all your blues, all greens, etc. Shades of a single color tend to "go" together and it will help you become more comfortable with going scrappy.

I have found this is a nice way to just go into the sewing room and get in a little sewing when time is limited. I call it my sewing "fix". Enjoy it while it lasts...the other projects will still be there. I have some of the same in pizza boxes calling my name to finish.
