I am going to move it all into the spare room which I will have a space of about 10'x12' area. I hope to figure out the best way to organize it.

It's amazing that the photos look so much worse than I thought the room looked. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel up to be moving a bit more to start cleaning-up.

Yesterday I catalogued all 342 of my magazines. Today I started on the books, I'm at 103 from the two bottom shelves, three more shelves to go. Then I'm going to make a list of all my embroidery threads.

I might actually get organized before I go back to work on Feb 1st, but how do you keep it organized when sewing?? :?:
I so want to be like Eleanor Burns and throw stuff over my shoulder and have someone else clean it up.
Pam would I love to have the shelves you have for your fabric. We'll have to discuss our sewing areas on Sunday. Hope you can still make it.

Oh, another great idea. When I get the spare bed back into the room, totes underneath...

Thanks, Boxer mom,
I knit them a few Christmasses ago for gifts. I grew up with Boxers. My parents ran a woman's kennel for her and helped show her dogs when I was really little. Special dogs!

Took back the broken tote tower today and got another one. So, progress made this afternoon....ALL my yarn now has a home, all pre-cuts for quilting stowed, selvedges put away for some future use.

I just found something WONDERFUL (well, really my hubby found it, but...) At Home Depot, they have large storage cabinets by CLoset Maid..they are $106.00; I got TWO of them. They are 6' tall, 48" wide..with shelves. Not enought shelves tho..I got MORE shelves by taking a large piece of melamine(like plywood) and they cut more shelves for me,so for $36.00, I got 8 more shelves.they also have the "pegs" that the shelves sit on, and there are holes already in the cabinet for the pegs.NOw I have ALL of my fabric on the shelves, by color; also a section of "kid" fabric (for LINUS PROJECT)..also, a shelf for "all choosen, ready to quilt" fabric bunches for the next project. Anyways, these shelves are wonderful and I wanted to tell everybody about this find.
