I ordered a Cutting Edge Rotary cutter from Clotilde. Would barely cut paper, much less fabric. Tried it every which way. Called Clotilde. They are sending me out a new one and didn't not want me to send the first one back. That's what I call first rate customer service! Now if only the second one works! Has anyone else tried this cutter and what did you think of it? I also ordered a Cutting Edge ruler, which I like. If it helps keep the rotary blade sharp, it will be wonderful.

There have been several discussions on here about this ruler and cutter. Use the search feature and you can get some info.

Glad to hear about the positive response from Clotilde! Yeah them!

I love Clotilde. They have all kinds of neat stuff in their catalog. I haven't used the cutter you're talking about. If you get the new one and it doesn't work right either, please post what they do for you. I'm sure they will give your money back.

They are a very good company and have been around for a long time. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. I will be anxious to see if the second cutter works as expected.

Just finished reading the thread and had to go check the pieces I cut yesterday using the new ruler. They are right on. Whew!

Is it remotely possible there are 2 blades stuck together in the cutter.....by accident, of course?
