I belong to a facebook group called Sit Down Free Motion Quilters. The quilt is a block of the month, quilt as you go with tutorial by Jeanne Harrison.

This is what I thought when I saw this beauty. A small mariners compass would work if any of those great stars in the top don't fit. A wonderful quilt. Show us what you choose and the finish too!
peace

I second this idea! I think it would look amazing!

Awesome Quilt! You can't go wrong with either the blue or the black. The blue is calming and the black is vibrant to me.
What about using both? If you pick just one, I like the black best.

Nobody else seems to like the red but it's my pick of those shown. It lets the starburst show. Don't care for the blue dot and all I see on the others is the black dot, not the star.

The blue ties the quilt together in a happy carefree way. The black makes it business like.

When I first looked at all your choices together, I thought I liked the black. Then I looked at each one individually, covering up the other choices. The blue makes your quilt pop.
