It's amazing what they look like after you've cut those little strips and sew back together; it's kind of hard to visualize what it's going to look like by just looking at strips of fabric laying out. When it starts going together, it just kind of flows and you have a beautiful Bargello. It's going to look great. Everybody is going to have an opinion, but it's your quilt. BTW, I like the purple too.

I enjoyed making mine. The hardest part was deciding the order of the colors. I took pictures with my camera many times. All looked good. Be sure to sew up one side and down one side. Or the finished project will not lie flat. Good luck and I am waiting to see the next steps!

Fryguy, I love this red bargello, I loved the purple in it too, it gave your eye a place to rest, but I understand why you took it out. I will be following this thread, can't wait to see Day 3.
