Ha Coyote, you're a hoot! I like to buy fabric, and sewing machines.

Yes! Of course, I always intend to make "something" of it!

I doubt very much if you will find many people on here although there are probably a few (how I envy them) that are able to only buy fabric when they are starting a new project or to complete a project

This is a rhetorical question, right? Of course.

Yea! Of course! I buy it "just because" I like it, or just because my stash "needs" more of that color, or because I like butterflies, or "while I'm here and they may be out the next time I'm in here." And the good reasons just keep going and going.

When they call our names, we can't just leave the fabric in the store.

Of course! I'll buy something I like and then start looking out for coordinating fabrics. And therefore another project is born! Just add it to the ever growing list.

I feel that it is my civic duty to purchase fabric whenever I pass a LQS. I want to keep them all in business. It's purely an altruistic action on my part. Nothing to do with a fabric purchasing compulsion. I can stop any time I want.
